State IECMH Systems Leader as Champion

Connection between state government and CPP systems

Catherine Wright has been instrumental in elevating CPP across the state’s Early Childhood Mental Health System of Care.

  • Spearheads the CPP sustainability plan with CPP State Trainer.
  • Allocates grants to agencies for lost productivity time during CPP trainings.
  • Collects implementation and fidelity data.
Statewide CAMP Initiative

Training and sustainability activities across all regions

Minnesota invested in CAMP, working with CPP developers to adapt it to rural locales. The investment led to 12 CAMP sites* with 5 regional trainers* who provide ongoing consultation. This approach strengthens systems of care across the state, prevents provider burnout, and supports sustainable, high-quality services for children in regions that have traditionally had less access.

Community-Building
for Sustainability

Enhancing provider retention & fidelity through engagement

To sustain CPP, the Minnesota training team organizes:

  • Additional trainings on specialty topics (e.g. CPP in child welfare systems).
  • Annual CPP advanced training in conjunction with a state mental health conference focused on young children.
  • Monthly advanced calls to support sustainability and enhance competencies through case-based training.
