CPP Learning Session 1 (LS1) Core Didactics Overview

The goal of the CPP Learning Session (LS1) core didactics will provide you with a strong foundation as you work with families using CPP. 

Learning Objectives

At the end of the LS1 core didactics learning session, participants will be able to. . . 

• Describe the concept of ghosts in the nursery
• Describe how a caregiver’s experience of trauma may affect the way they raise their child
• Describe the concept of angels in the nursery
• Name the three phases of CPP treatment
• Name at least four CPP treatment goals/objectives
• Name at last three core competencies of CPP
• Name at least two domains that therapists typically assess during a CPP assessment
• Name at least three of the six strands of CPP fidelity
• Describe the components of the CPP triangle
• Describe the CPP concept of ports of entry
